TINA for the Macintosh
known problems.
Interface:
- idle - uses macintosh cursors.
- mouse - option and command emulate extra mouse buttons.
- buttons - work.
- choice - work.
- checkbox - work.
- labeltext - work.
- paneltext - part functional. When xvset moves the widget the height is taken from the label this causes the input boxes to overlap making the dialog hard to read. This only happens on dialog windows or where paneltext is separated by newlines. On text entry backspace is not sent to Tina. It is sent to Mac text edit.
Copy and paste to Mac window unimplemented.
- textSubwin - mostly functional. - cosmetic underlap on scrollbar. Scrolls scroll past top of text. Copy to Mac clipboard not implemented.
- dialogs - implemented as a call to frame. See Panel text.
- menus - min functionality. Menus display correct text when clicked on.
- canvas - part function see tools.
Tools
- TVtool - part function. -mac event re draws to window do not update background windows.
- Stereo tool - demo functional. see panel text. Analygliph fails due to the Mac invalidating the window and calling the canvases redraw procedure.
- Edge tool - demo functional. Edges and recovered geometry are drawn in correct Tina color. 3Dwindow shows recovered geometry. Buttons call correct subtool.
- Corner tool - demo functional. Problems in interpretation of How screens and windows relate. May need to implement an additional layer of private storage.
Features
- font map - unimplemented. Font defaulted to 12pt monaco. Metrics incorrect
- drag and drop auto open. - no way to run a .cls file even though the structure exists.
- preferences - unimplemented.
- environment mapping - unimplemented -
